NEW YEAR’S DAY CEREMONY
Come join us for an uplifting traditional Japanese New Year’s Day celebration at the IDESST Cultural Center, just up the street from Sushi Ran restaurant. Watch the breaking of the sake barrel, a fun old Japanese tradition, participate in the sambon-jime hand clapping ceremony, and enjoy spirited taiko drumming performance by the professional Japanese family troup Takumi Kato & Peaceful Forest.
